A Reason to Celebrate!!

Posted in University Life at 10:53 pm by Haythoo - Admin

Good news people, I managed to meet almost all of my deadlines

Today I have a great reason to celebrate!! I’M STILL ALIVE!!
Yes! Who would have thought? 9 deadlines, stress, sleeplessness, everything going bad! And YET, I’m still live. Now that’s a reason to thank God.

I thought I won’t survive if I went back to university. I was wrong!
I survived an EEG (electronics & cicuits) test!! It’s true I failed badly, but it’s not my problem that the class average is 50%!! I hate this subject. It seems so easy, yet it is so hard to get a decent grade. My test paper is so embarassing. Our teacher assumes we know everything!! Well, I hope I do better on the next test to save my GPA, and my life too.

I hate the midterm period.. tests, tests, tests! It’s killing meeeeee…
Today’s conclusion: A little studying won’t kill you

On the brighter side, I did well on my history test! At least it’s one grade I’m proud of so far.

*The smilies are from ansaralhusain.net website, a great website.

I love this time of the year, the weather is toooo great
P.S. It rained yesterday, I remembered you.

9 Deadlines and a fly

Posted in My Designs & Photography, University Life at 11:49 pm by Haythoo - Admin

The greatest feeling in the world is the sense of accomplishment. I absolutely love it when I feel that I’ve accomplished something. I love it when I meet a deadline!

They say: “Meeting a deadline is an art”. I say: I’m not an artist!!

I have 9 deadlines once I get back to university. I have a couple of tests and reports. I wanted to finish them during the Eid break, but couldn’t resist to take a break from work. This is my first break.

I hate it when work controls me. I don’t like it when my work leads me into a maze with no exit. I like to be in control, but it seems like i’m in the middle of the maze at this point.

It is during the busiest period of the semester that I experience a sudden urge to do things that I haven’t done for a long time. For instance, I tend to practise my favorite hobby-photography, when I’m under pressure or not feeling so well. It makes me feel so much better when I take a nice photo.

This evening, right after dinner, I went out to check out the weather- my little sister has been spreading a rumor that it’s winter already. For some reason, I grabbed my camera with me. I was looking for a nice spot to take photo. Then, I saw it right there- a beautiful, if I may say- fly sitting on a leaf. I took its picture. I hope you like it. I hope it doesn’t mind having its picture published on the net.

I hope to finish my work soon, I’ll keep you updated- this helps me stay in track.

I hope I don’t waste the next few days.

Wish me luck.
