Life and afterlife.
It’s strange how death awakens so many emotions in us.
Death takes away so much from people, yet grants them many things in return. It grants us a new perspective in life, one in which some of our beloved ones might not be in. Indeed, it is a very gloomy view.
From time to time, I find myself thinking about life, and afterlife… that is, what comes after death. It is strange how we always think of the future and pretend that everyone is going to be there. We picture years ahead and force everyone to fit in the picture.
Even though we should expect death at any moment, it takes us by surprise when we least expect it, taking away yet another beloved one from our paths.
I always try to keep memories of the people around me. I take many pictures to document life as I see it. I believe that that is just another way of immortalizing life. Everyone tries to immortalize life by forcing the memories to live. We all do it in different ways.
Here’s a blog filled with tender emotions of a mourning mother who lost her little one unexpectedly.
Remeber, it is just the mortal bodies that expire. Souls never die. Cherish the souls of the people around you for it is their souls that are going to forever live with and within us.
